Project Description

Defending the Faith: Answering Challenges To the Christian Faith (Fall 2025)

Mondays & Wednesdays from 2-4PM

Why do you believe what you believe?

Even if you’ve never wondered, chances are a friend has asked. Many of us just believe. And that’s good. But 1 Peter tells us we should always be ready to defend what we believe. It’s important to give reasonable, compelling answers to difficult questions.

In Defending the Faith, we’ll look at some of the traditional arguments for and against God’s existence, the resurrection of Jesus, and the reasonableness of faith. But we’ll also look at fresh, contemporary problems raised in our contemporary culture. After this class, you’ll have more confidence in your Christian beliefs and tools to defend them.
