Project Description
History of Christianity
Tuesday & Thursday, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
What has Christianity done for the world, anyway? Many of us are familiar with the basic plot of Scripture. And we’re familiar with the church we attend today. But many of us are also a little hazy on what happened in between. What have Christians been up to? What is our legacy? How did my church get from Scripture to where it is today? In this class, we’ll explore these questions and take up the arduous task of Christian history. From Acts, to Patristics, through the Middle Ages and Reformation, we’ll take a closer look at the historical events that shaped Christianity as we know it today.
